WU Postdoc Society

GET INVOLVED WITH THE WU POSTDOC SOCIETY!

Are you interested in gaining leadership and team-building experience? The Washington University Postdoc Society (WUPS) is seeking current postdocs to get involved!

Why should you get involved with WUPS?

  • Meet new people and work to improve our postdoctoral experience
  • Be an advocate for your fellow postdocs, especially those from other countries, who may benefit from your knowledge and experiences
  • Master leadership and soft skills (organizational, meeting management, etc.) by serving on committees
  • Interact with administrators and faculty
  • Add leadership and team-building experience to your CV/resume

The WU Postdoc Society is governed by a set of bylaws (originally ratified in December 2005) and the group is managed by the Executive Council.  All are welcome to attend the Executive Council meetings!  They are held on the first Monday of each month at 5:00pm on the 5th floor of Becker Library, DBBS Room 522. To officially join the Executive Council, please fill out this Letter of Intent (click to view) and send to Jigisha Patel. If you like more information, please contact Jigisha Patel, WUPS President, at jrpatel@dom.wustl.edu.
