Communicating Science 2016 Symposium – September 26 – 29
 
The School of Medicine will host Communicating Science 2016, a four-day symposium from September 26-29, at the Eric P. Newman Education Center that brings together a series of instructional workshops and presentations focused on communication challenges facing today’s scientists. The symposium will include presentations on the topic of science communication led by WUSTL specialists and an interactive plenary hosted by the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science. The plenary will be led by James Rea, a communications coach and consultant with more than 20 years of experience, from the Alda Center on Tuesday, September 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the EPNEC Auditorium.
 
All events are open to the entire WUSTL community, but registration is required.
 
 
 
The symposium is hosted by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, Bernard Becker Medical Library, Office of Medical Public Affairs, and the School of Engineering & Applied Science. Additional sponsorship for the symposium is provided by: Alumni & Development, Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences, Institute for Public Health, Office of the Provost, and Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine.
