The Career Center

The Career Center's mission is to help Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Appointees be successful and prepare them for a lifetime of career management. There are many resources at The Career Center including workshops on job search topics and individual career counseling.


Career Advising

Graduate students and postdoctoral appointees can schedule individual, confidential career advising appointments with the graduate and postdoctoral career strategist, Arlene Taich, Ph.D. Arlene is available on the Medical School campus and on the Danforth Campus by appointment. Job Search Resources

The Career Center has a variety of resources available to assist you with your job search process, whether in the academy or in the corporate world. The Division of Biology & Biomedical Sciences also maintains a Postdoctoral and Job Opportunities page for openings at both Washington University and other organizations, schools and businesses.

The Career Center Programs

The Career Center offers a variety of workshops and events especially created to serve the career development and job search needs of graduate students and postdoctoral appointees, such as Workshops, Job Search Acceleration Teams and Networking Receptions.

The Career Center is located on the Danforth Campus at 110 Danforth University Center (DUC), between Simon Hall and Mallinckrodt Center.
