Fellowship Writing Workshop

The Fellowship Writing Workshop (formerly known as the Graduate Fellowship Workshop or the Grant-Writing workshop) is offered to graduate students and postdocs, in order to teach them proposal-writing skills, with the goal of applying to an appropriate fellowship or grant.  The program is supported by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the Division of Biology & Biomedical Sciences, the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and the School of Engineering at Washington University and has events on both the Medical School and Danforth campuses.

Lectures: Sept. 9 & 16 (Medical Campus) or Sept. 14 & 17 (Danforth Campus).
Small Group Sessions (3) start Sept. 23.

GR1s and GR2s writing NSF fellowships should register for the Early track. GR3s and above should register for the Advanced track. Students may register for lectures only; lecture attendance is required for small group participation.

Grant-Writing Workshop

A four session workshop offered each fall for postdocs and DBBS graduate students.
Sessions will be held Nov. 12th, 19th and Dec. 3rd & 10th from 3-5pm and you must attend all four sessions to participate.  The November sessions are lectures & discussions and the December sessions are small group sessions. Each attendee will write an abstract and specific aims, and work with partners in small groups to critique each other with insight from a faculty member.
