Research/Primary Professional Activity:
My laboratory focuses on the fungal pathogen Histoplasma capsulatum. We use molecular biology techniques to study the genes involved in sensing and responding to changing environmental conditions.

I am responsible for teaching 3 courses during an academic year: Foundations in Biology (intro majors course), Molecular and Cellular Biology and Microbiology.

I am willing to talk with students and recent graduates about employment opportunities.
