The Division of Biology & Biomedical Sciences established the Office of Post Graduate Affairs (OPGA) in November 2002 to support postdoctoral appointees. OPGA serves as a focal point for the postdoctoral community at the School of Medicine and an advocate for postdoc issues.
Mission Statement:
To be an advocate for postdoctoral researchers and postdoctoral issues, to create and provide training and career development opportunities for postdoctoral researchers, to be a central resource for information regarding postdoctoral training and to assist in the development of a diverse community of postdoctoral researchers. |
