    Jessica directs career development curriculum for DBBS Ph.D. students and bioscience postdocs. She teaches workshops and for-credit courses on writing (L41 BIOL 5866/U29 BIO 4866, Communicating Science: Writing for Multiple Audiences) and career planning (L41 BIOL 5867/U29 BIO 4867, Career Planning for Biomedical Scientists). She serves on multiple curriculum committees at Washington University and has provided interim leadership for the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs since 2016.​
