    ​​Jessica Directs career curriculum for DBBS Ph.D. students and bioscience postdocs.  She teaches workshops and for-credit courses on writing (L41 BIOL 5866/U29 BIO 4866, Communicating Science:  Writing for Multiple Audiences) and career planning (L41 BIOL 5867/U29 BIO 4867, Career Planning for Biomedical Sciences).  She serves on multiple curriculum committees at Washington University and has provided interim leadership for the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs since 2016.

    Janie is responsible for data management and administrative support for all curriculum in DBBS: online course listings, course evaluations and program assessments, pedagogical materials and faculty support, as well as marketing and communications related to curriculum. She provides administrative support for the DBBS-wide Ethics course (L41 BIOL 5011), Mentored Teaching Experience (MTE), and co-curricular workshops.​
