Research summary
STAT5 is a regulator of monocyte cell-fate decision making in response to cardiac injury

STAT5 is an important transcription factor that is most notable for its role in IL-2 signaling and Treg differentiation. Additionally, it plays a role in monocyte and macrophage activation and function. Our group is investigating the role of STAT5 in monocyte cell-fate decision making in response to different cardiac injury models.
