Research summary
I am analyzing whether metagenomics and metatranscriptomics is associated with host plasma proteins in childhood undernutrition. I am also applying computational methods to improve metatranscriptomic differential expression analysis.

I am currently working on two projects in the lab. (i) I am investigating whether gut microbial composition and gene expression are associated with changes in host growth-related plasma proteins in the context of childhood undernutrition. (ii) I am also applying computational methods to optimize differential expression analysis in metatranscriptomic data.
