Research summary
My research focuses on cancer genomics and precision oncology, integrating genomic and transcriptomic data to investigate tumor biology, identify molecular drivers, and characterize clinically relevant alterations.
My research focuses on cancer genomics, computational biology, and precision oncology. I use integrative genomic and transcriptomic approaches, including whole-genome and whole-exome sequencing, bulk RNA sequencing, and single-cell multi-omics, to investigate tumor heterogeneity, identify molecular drivers, and characterize clinically relevant genomic alterations.
My research spans multiple malignancies and tumor types, including Hodgkin lymphoma, Kaposi sarcoma, and parathyroid adenomas. I investigate somatic mutations, copy number alterations, gene expression profiles, and the tumor microenvironment to better understand tumor development and progression.
In addition, I contribute to cancer variant interpretation and precision oncology efforts through the Clinical Interpretation of Variants in Cancer (CIViC) knowledgebase and the ClinGen Somatic Cancer Variant Curation Expert Panels, supporting the clinical interpretation and standardization of cancer-associated genomic alterations.
