Research summary
Investigating the role of NMDAR metaplasticity in ventral hippocampal control of flexible feeding behaviors.
My work is focused on understanding how metaplasticity at CA3-CA1 synapses influences satiety state encoding and ultimately flexible control of feeding downstream of ventral hippocampus. I’m particularly interested in the effects of differential NNMDAR subunit compositions across development and in psychiatric disease states.
