Research summary
Studying host and viral determinants of non-classical astroviruses.

I am interested in studying host–viral interactions, particularly those related to viral entry. We use genome-wide knockout screens and membrane-specific CRISPR activation screens to identify host factors involved in viral entry and subsequent stages of infection. I am also interested in screening repurposed small molecules to identify potential therapeutic targets for astrovirus infections.
