Investigating the role of cellular senescence in AD
Age is the most significant risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and growing evidence suggests that cellular senescence plays a central role in disease progression. My work focuses on defining senescent cell populations in AD using spatial omics approaches and examines senolytic agents as an emerging therapeutic strategy for clinical translation.
