Research summary
Determining the effect of HPV E6* expression on the response to standard-of-care chemoradiation in cervical cancer

I am currently studying whether increased HPV E6* expression mediates resistance to standard-of-care chemoradiation in cervical cancer by inducing a reversible state of tumor cell senescence. I am also working on establishing a cervical cancer-specific senescence signature that will allow for more accurate detection of such cells and identification of targetable molecules or cellular pathways, improving disease-free and overall survival.
