Research summary
Characterizing the type 2 immune response in the nematode model Heligmosomoides bakeri

My research focuses on identifying nematode (H. Bakeri) specific CD4+ T cells. This will provide us with novel perspectives into how a particular T cell clone polarizes to a Th2 cell during gastrointestinal helminth infection, how this T cell response may change with co-infection, and how antigen-specific T cells are maintained and recalled upon rechallenge.
