Evaluating genetic and hormonal basis for sex differences in neurodevelopment
I am a student in the Dougherty lab, studying the genetics of neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism. I’m primarily interested in evaluating any genetic and hormonal sex differences that might explain the sex bias seen in many neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions, including major depressive disorder, autism spectrum condition, schizophrenia, and obsessive compulsive disorder.
